Allied Health Practitioners Council of Zimbabwe is looking For An Accountant Three Months Contract
Reporting to the Finance and Administration Officer
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitoring expenditure against budgets on a weekly, monthly and long-term basis and makes recommendations to relevant management staff as required.
Preparing, examining and analyzing accounting records, financial statements, and reports.
Analyzing business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
Preparing management accounts (variance analysis) on a monthly basis and submit these to the Registrar and Business and Finance Committee.
Ensure assets are insured and maintain an asset register.
Computing taxes owed and preparing tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, and reporting other tax requirements.
Sourcing quotations ,making requisitions, purchasing and preparing payment vouchers for all Council requisitions
Assisting in documenting and filing background checks for registrants
Checking and maintaining staff advance records.
Support office administration whenever requested or necessary.
Performing any other task, which may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor

. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
University Degree in Accounting / Finance
4 years working experience in Accounting / Finance
Teamwork – Able to work effectively with others to deliver services, working flexibly to meet demands of the service
Planning and organising – Excellent time management with the ability to prioritise workloads and achieve deadlines
Communication – High level proficiency in report writing and communication skills (spoken, written and presentation)
