The Jairos Jiri Association is inviting applications from vibrant, self-motivated, and suitably qualified individuals to join our Finance Department as Accounting Graduate Trainees. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to gain hands-on experience within a reputable developmental organization.
Position Details

• Contract Type: Graduate Traineeship
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
• Assisting in the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date financial records, including journals and ledgers.
• Capturing financial transactions into the accounting system with high levels of accuracy.
• Preparing monthly bank reconciliation statements for assigned accounts.
• Assisting in processing supplier payments and monitoring accounts receivable to ensure timely collections.
• Assisting in the preparation and timely submission of statutory returns (e.g., NSSA, ZIMRA).
• Providing administrative and clerical support during internal and external audit processes.
• Assisting in maintaining the organizational tixed asset register and conducting physical asset counts.
• Contributing to the preparation of weekly and monthly financial reports.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications and Attributes
• A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Professional qualifications (or progress towards) such as ACCA, CIMA, or ICAZ is an added advantage.
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
• Knowledge of accounting software is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of integrity and professional ethics.
