Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Clerk to join our growing team. The successful candidate will support the finance department with day-to-day accounting duties and ensure accurate financial record keeping.

Duties and Responsibilities

Processing invoices, receipts, and payments accurately.
Maintaining debtor and creditor accounts.
Capturing financial transactions in the accounting system (e.g., Pastel).
Reconciling bank statements and supplier accounts.
Preparing daily sales reconciliations from branches
Assisting with stock reconciliation and inventory records.
Filing and maintaining proper financial documentation.
Assisting with month-end financial processes.
Following up on outstanding customer payments.

Qualifications and Experience

Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
At least 1–2 years’ experience in an accounting or finance role.
Knowledge of Pastel Accounting or similar accounting software is an added advantage.
Strong attention to detail and good numerical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Must be aged between 23 and 30
