Job Description
An Accounts Officer is required in one of our business unit in the Transport Industry (Haulage trucks/Cross boarder trucks). The person is required to bridge the gap between account department and operations to ensure smooth business operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Keeps track and record expenses related to transportation including fuel, maintenance etc
- Costing of all trips
- Maintaining financial records for transportation fleets
- Manage accounts payables and receivables related to transportation transactions
- Ensuring adherence to all statutory regulations
- Performing all accounting related reconciliations
- Filing of all financial related documents
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related
- At least 3 years traceable experience in cross-boarder operations or related position
- Must be very good with Ms Excel
- Knowledge of CD3's and CEPECS systems an added advantage
- Exposure in Operations Management a distinct advantage
