JOB VACANCY: ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Ixar Academy Vocational Schools is looking for a highly organised, professional and customer-focused Administrative Assistant to join our growing team.
The successful candidate will support the day-to-day administration of the Academy, ensuring efficient communication, accurate record keeping and smooth coordination of students, staff and school activities.
Duties and Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Handle front-office and general administrative duties.
* Receive and assist students, parents, visitors and clients.
* Manage telephone calls, emails and other correspondence.
* Maintain accurate student and administrative records.
* Assist with student registration, enrolment and documentation.
* Prepare letters, reports, notices and other administrative documents.
* Assist with filing, data entry and document management.
* Coordinate appointments, meetings and school activities.
* Assist the administration and management team with daily operational tasks.
* Support student communication and follow-ups.
* Maintain confidentiality of student and institutional information.
* Perform any other duties reasonably assigned by management.
Qualifications and Experience
REQUIREMENTS
* A certificate, diploma or degree in Administration, Business Administration, Management or a related field.
* Previous experience in an administrative or school environment will be an advantage.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Good computer skills, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Professional, presentable and customer-oriented.
* Ability to work effectively with students, staff and members of the public.
