Job Description

A manufacturing company is looking for an individual with at least 1 year of experience as an Administrator or as an Accounts clerk. Candidates should be available to start immediately

Duties and Responsibilities

Administration
• Answering incoming calls; taking messages and re-directing calls as required
• Dealing with email enquiries
• Taking minutes
• Diary management and arranging appointments, booking meeting rooms and conference facilities
• General office management such as ordering stationary
Sales
• Maintaining the company social media accounts
• Provide administration support to Sales Reps and Senior Management
• Preparing and submitting sales contracts for orders.
• Answering client questions about credit terms, products, prices and availability
• Obtaining deposits and balance of payment from clients
• Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas
Bookkeeping
• Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
• Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
• Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements
• Reconcile accounts in a timely manner.
• Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc

Qualifications and Experience

Experience 2 years
Qualifications Degree/Diploma in Accounting/Marketing/Administration
Equipment PC
Software Microsoft
Skills To Communicate effectively; Organised;
Ability To Work productively and accurately under pressure and meet set
deadlines.
Personality Practical / Self-Starter / Attention to detail / Results oriented
