Job Description
A dynamic automotive company seeks to recruit suitable candidate for a position that has arisen in its structure. We are looking for a self-motivated and results-driven Assistant Accountant to supervise the preparation and production of financial accounts to Balance Sheet.
Duties and Responsibilities
Overall in charge of preparation [book-keeping] of financial accounts to Balance sheet.
Weekly and monthly flash and management accounts
Supervise daily and up to date capture of all transactions
Verify and authenticate all transactions
Balance sheet control accounts reconciliations [Daily & Monthly]
Product costing and gross profit monitoring
Statutory payments- Computation and Remittance [VAT, PAYE, QPDs]
Supervise accounts and administration clerks
Qualifications and Experience
Degree in accounting is a must
3 years post qualification experience at high level preferably motor industry or other FMCG industry.
Dexterous with pastel accounting package
Team player, initiative and self-assertive
