Duties and Responsibilities
Managing the University student admissions process in liaison with Faculties
Drafting and publication of degree programme advertisements
Managing University student registration in liaison with Faculties
Maintaining an accurate student records database
Compilation of student admission statistics
Liaising with Academic Departments on teaching timetable
Compilation of examination timetable
Receiving and securing examination question papers
Conducting all scheduled examinations and publishing results
Coordinating travel arrangements for External Examiners
Preparing degree certificates and transcripts for graduands
Servicing Committee meetings
Supervising junior staff
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Management/Administration or equivalent from a recognised Institution. Applicants should have at least four years’ post qualification experience in a University setting and should have advanced knowledge in the use of databases. Applicants should be able to work with minimal supervision, have excellent oral and written communication skills, good leadership skills and be honest and reliable.
CONDITIONS OF SERVICE
Leave, contributory medical aid and pension are offered. Information on salary and other benefits will be made available to shortlisted candidates.
