Job Description
The position requires the incumbent to be responsible in supervision of daily activities in the Fields department and any other duties as assigned by the superior.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Supervision of irrigation in lateral and pivots irrigation systems.
• General scouting for weeds, pests and diseases in sugarcane fields.
• Carrying out irrigation scheduling techniques.
• Carrying out pre-harvest and post harvesting operations in the fields.
• Designing herbicides and pesticides programs for spraying.
Qualifications and Experience
• 5 O levels including Mathematics and English,
• At least certificate in Agriculture,
• At least 2 years experience in supervisory post
• Experience in sugarcane will be an added advantage.
