We are looking for a dynamic and compassionate Boarding Master to join our team. As a Boarding Master, you will play a pivotal role in providing guidance, support, and supervision to our boarding students, fostering a sense of community and belonging within the boarding house.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising and supporting students during evening and weekend activities
- Ensuring the well-being and safety of boarding students
- Building positive relationships with students and providing mentorship
- Collaborating with school staff to create a positive boarding experience
- Enforcing boarding house rules and promoting a respectful and inclusive environment
Qualifications and Experience
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with young people in a boarding or residential setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine interest in the well-being of students
- Ability to handle and resolve conflicts in a calm and constructive manner
