Job Description
We are seeking a committed and responsible Boarding Master to oversee the welfare, discipline, and holistic development of students in our senior school boarding facility. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, and structured environment that supports academic success and personal growth.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Supervise daily routines, ensuring students adhere to boarding rules and schedules.
* Provide pastoral care, guidance, and mentorship to students.
* Maintain discipline and promote positive behavior within the boarding house.
* Oversee health, safety, and wellbeing of boarders, including emergency response.
* Coordinate recreational, cultural, and life-skills activities to enrich student experience.
* Ability to teach senior school subjects as assigned, contributing to academic excellence.
* Ability to coach sports in any discipline, fostering teamwork, fitness, and school spirit.
* Liaise with parents, teachers, and school leadership to support student progress.
* Manage boarding facilities, ensuring cleanliness, order, and proper upkeep.
Qualifications and Experience
* Relevant teaching qualification and/or experience in sports coaching.
* Experience in boarding school management or pastoral care is an advantage.
* Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to inspire adolescents both academically and in extracurricular activities.
* High level of responsibility, integrity, and organizational ability.
* First aid training is desirable.
