Job Description
• Operates the Boiler safely and efficiently
Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain consistent oil temperatures to the factory and process plants
• Operates all machinery component parts and control units related to the boiler and ancillary plant Safely and efficiently
• Recognise malfunction of machinery component parts and know when to take effective actions.
• Maintains constant supply of coal to the boiler coal hooper and observe that there is complete combustion taking place in the boiler
• Prepare and light up fire
• Raise temperatures in a way that it does not cause uneven stress to the Boiler
• Cleaning the Boiler when it is on shut down
Qualifications and Experience
• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role in a manufacturing company
• Holder of a Boiler Operating Certificate
• Ability to work accurately under pressure
• Knowledge of general Safety, Health and Environment standards an added advantage
