Job Description
We are seeking to recruit Class 1 boilermakers to be part of our fabrication team.
Duties and Responsibilities
To shape and fabricate spares and parts as per drawings
To read and interpret drawings
To mark, bend and cut steel material
To fabricate any steel jobs
Tuck welding
To strong weld unfinished and finished jobs
To repair all machinery within the workshop(welding/fabricating)
Grinding and drilling- including tape drilling
Performing all structural work
To bend and design rail switches as per drawings provided.
To operate a guillotine, bending machine, rolling machine and any other fabrication machine.
Qualifications and Experience
Class 1 Boilermaker (Preferably apprentice trained).
Minimum of two years working experience post qualification.
Ability to work under minimum supervision.
Working in a mining environment would be a distinct advantage.
