Job Description

Our Client is looking for a Bookkeeper to take care of all our company day to day tasks, being responsible for both accounts payable and receivable along with all payroll and bank account management and reconciliation tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
• Reconcile sales taxes, payroll tax ,bank accounts at the end of the month
• Monitor financial transactions and reports
• Process accounts receivable and payable
• Tax calculations and Zimra follow ups
• Data entry into Pastel
• Work with an accountant when necessary handle monthly payroll using account software.

Qualifications and Experience

• Associate degree in Accounting or business administration .Excellent knowledge of general accounting principles

• Knowledge of bookkeeping software

• At least 2-3 years of bookkeeping experience preferably within a business service environment

• Should have an excellent working knowledge and experience with working with Pastel

• Excellent communication skills , both verbal and written

• Attention to detail and accuracy of work experience in Microsoft Office , especially Excel

• Able to prepare review and understand a financial statement and monthly management accounts
