Job Description
Manica Inclusive Poultry Association is looking for an ,honest ,responsible ,vibrant and mature Male (1) and Female (1) to occupy the butcher position. Penhalonga (Tsvingwe)
Duties and Responsibilities
-Sharpen and adjust knives and cutting equipment.
-Receiving as well as inspecting meats and other related products brought for processing or sales to ensure they are safe for consumption.
-Able to handle cash
-Cut ,debone , or grind pierces meat.
-Weigh , wrap ,and display meat or meat products
-Cut or prepare meats to specification or customers orders
-Store meats in refrigerators or freezers at the required temperatures .
-Clean equipment and work areas to maintain health and sanitation standards
-Keeps records , budgets and inventory of the business.
-listens to customers and answers their questions related to the services provided to them .
-Follow up with rules ,regulations and other relevant laws guiding livestock production and sales in the geographical area.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum of 5 0' Level Subjects
Working experience in a butchery environment its an added advantage .
Responsible and mature person
Self-starter and able to work with minimum supervision.
