Job Description
Design, develop and implement civil infrastructure projects in our mining operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety, efficiency, and compliance of our mining infrastructure.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Oversee engineering activities in civil infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, and buildings.
• Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies.
• Design and review structural and civil components for industrial facilities.
• Ensure compliance with mining regulations, safety and quality standards
• Develop and implement project plans while ensuring cost-effectiveness in project execution.
• Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and progress monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mining operations and maintenance.
• Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, and engineering drawings.
• Address construction challenges and provide engineering solutions.
• Ensure compliance with local and international civil engineering standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in the mining industry
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, including structural analysis and geotechnical engineering
- Excellent problem-solving and project management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
