MASO is a non-profit organization dedicated to community development, health, climate resilience, and youth empowerment. We have established a Climate Smart Agriculture and Diversified Livelihoods Hub that integrates poultry, fish farming, beekeeping, goat production, horticulture, greenhouse technology and mushroom farming.
To strengthen
sustainability and impact, MASO seeks a qualified and entrepreneurial Hub Support Officer to run the hub as a viable business unit.
Support the day-to-day operations of the Climate Smart Agriculture and Diversified
Livelihoods hub.
Develop and implement business plans to ensure profitability and sustainability.
Identify and expand market opportunities for hub products locally and nationally.
Manage budgets, track revenues/expenses, and ensure accountability.
Promote climate-resilient farming techniques and diversified livelihoods.
Train and mentor youth and students on work related learning.
Build strong networks with buyers, suppliers, and stakeholders to enhance value chains.
Diploma in Agriculture, Agribusiness or related field (Degree is an advantage).
Minimum 3 years' experience in agribusiness management, livestock/fish/poultry production, or diversified farming enterprises.
Proven track record in running profitable agricultural ventures or hubs.
Strong knowledge of climate smart agriculture and sustainable livelihoods.
Excellent financial management, marketing, and business development skills.
Ability to lead teams, mentor farmers, and engage with diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency in ICT tools for business and farm management.
