Zimbabwe’s worst humanitarian crises with programs targeting HIV and reproductive health. Youth Advocates helps communities survive, recover and rebuild their lives.
Youth Advocates delivers online emergency support, protects young people, provides healthcare, prevents and responds to violence against women and girls, safeguards human

crucially, accountability to those we serve. Youth Advocates is a tireless advocate for the most vulnerable.
Youth Advocates seeks qualified, experienced and hardworking candidate to fill in the position of Communications Officer that has arisen in the organization. The incumbent
will be responsible for the following duties:
Duties and Responsibilities
● To spearhead the Youth Broadcasting Network (Digital Radio and TV) Content
Creation as well as Facilitation.
●Digital platform Graphics development
●Creation and distribution of written or graphic content in the form of
e-newsletters, web page and blog content, or social media messages.
●Creating and posting of daily themed posts.
●Social Media Engagement
●Grows and expands company social media presence into new social media platforms, plus increases presence on existing platforms including Facebook,
LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram
●Creates marketing and social media campaigns and strategies, including budget
planning, content ideation, and implementation schedules
●Moderates educational content for the Youth Advocates Leadership Program.
●Report Writing.
Qualifications and Experience
Person specification
● Essential qualifications, skills and requirements Must be a seasoned broadcaster or communication for development professional with a minimum of a degree in relevant field with traceable references of previous work, must not over 28 years.
●Good communication skills
●Good graphical designing skills
●Ability to use email marketing skills.
●Strong verbal and written communication skills
●Attention to detail
●Creative Problem-solving skills
