Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill in the following vacant posts that have arisen within the Agricultural Marketing Authority (AMA).

About You
Agricultural Marketing Authority, is looking for a seasoned Communications & Digital Media person with demonstrable experience of how to create, brief and curate soda! media content, grasps the implications of content and messaging on soda! media channels. Familiarity with social media scheduling tools is also key, along with a determination to change the way the media and social media engages with and portrays the Authority.

About the Role

Our media and social media team play a key role in delivering engaging content, stories and information across to our audience and the public. We're looking for someone to plan, deliver and analyse AMA's organic social media channels. You'll ensure that AMA's reputation, tone of voice and quality of content is effectively and consistently delivered.

Duties and Responsibilities

Other Tasks Include:
• Support implementation of AMA's communications and digital media strategy across traditional and online media platforms;
• Draft and edit written materials, communications plan, and content as needed for partner, program, and communications teams;
• Lead strategy and implementation of communications for key AMA partnerships;
• Lead press strategy and outreach, working to maintain and expand AMA press relationship;
• Leverage social media trends, press opportunities and hot button issues to engage social media audiences.
• Provide a high level of customer service for our social media audience and respond astutely to questions and issues.
• Provide support on reporting communications metrics and 'CPIs;
• Attend and cover live events as applicable;
• Organising and attending promotional events such as press conferences, open days, exhibitions, tours and visits

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications and Experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience in communications and digital media,
in publishing or media outlet, at a PR agency, or NGOsetting;
• Bachelors Degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Public Relations, International Relations or related field preferred;
• Excellent wiling skills - experience writing and editing op-eds, blogs, press releases, and editorial content for a brand, organization, or thought leader,
• Strong media relations background and experience working with press;
• Basic proficiency Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office Suite;
• Proficiency in email marketing platforms (e.g., Convio Luminate Online, EveryAction, Campaign Monitor, Pardot, or similar tools), CRM (Salesforce preferred), and CMS platforms (WordPress);
• Experience producing and editing video content;
