Job Description

We are seeking a results-driven Content and Digital Marketing Specialist to develop, manage, and execute compelling content strategies that drive interest in our products and service offerings. The ideal candidate is an exceptional writer and storyteller with expertise in SEO, social media, email marketing, and analytics. This role is crucial for engaging our target audience, building brand authority, and generating qualified leads across both divisions of the company.

Duties and Responsibilities

Content Strategy and Creation
• Copywriting: Write clear, engaging, and persuasive copy for all marketing channels, including property descriptions, auction item narratives, blog posts, press releases, website landing pages, and print advertisements.
• SEO & Web Content: Develop and implement content optimized for search engines (SEO) to increase organic traffic and visibility for both the auction house and real estate listings. Manage and update website content as needed.
• Blog Management: Plan, write, edit, and publish regular blog content focusing on market trends, property features, auction highlights, and expert insights.
• Storytelling: Work closely with the Photography/Design team to incorporate high-quality visuals into all content, ensuring narratives are compelling and on-brand.
Digital Marketing and Distribution
• Email Marketing: Design, write, and manage targeted email marketing campaigns (e.g., newsletters, auction alerts, property updates) using our CRM/email platform, focusing on segmentation and performance optimization.
• Social Media Management: Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn). This includes content calendar planning, daily posting, community engagement, and monitoring performance.
• Reporting & Analytics: Track, measure, and analyze the performance of all content and digital campaigns (using tools like Google Analytics). Provide regular reports with actionable recommendations to optimize future efforts.
• Paid Media Support: Assist the marketing team in drafting compelling ad copy and selecting targeting parameters for digital paid advertising campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, social media advertising).

Qualifications and Experience

Required Skills
• Exceptional Writing & Editing: A proven, versatile ability to write clean, persuasive, and grammatically perfect copy for various formats and audiences.
• Digital Marketing Fluency: Strong practical knowledge of SEO principles, Google Analytics, and managing professional accounts on major social media platforms.
• Content Management Systems (CMS): Proficiency in managing content using platforms like WordPress or similar website content management systems.
• Email Marketing Experience: Hands-on experience with email marketing software (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact, HubSpot) and understanding of list segmentation and deliverability best practices.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to translate business goals into measurable content and marketing objectives.
Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in content creation, digital marketing, or a similar role, preferably in the real estate, auction, or high-value retail sectors.
• Portfolio/Writing Samples: A portfolio demonstrating successful content creation across multiple formats (e.g., long-form articles, social media campaigns, email copy) is required.
