We are looking for qualified and experienced part time tutors to teach cookery and culinary arts modules at our Harare and Bulawayo campuses.
• Curriculum Development: Design, develop, and update course content, including lectures, practical assignments, and learning materials.
• Instruction and Demonstration: Provide both theoretical knowledge and hands-on instruction in cooking techniques, food preparation, baking, and specific culinary topics like meat, fish, and poultry fabrication.
• Practical Training: Supervise and guide students in a kitchen setting, ensuring they learn proper food handling, preparation, and sanitation.
• Safety and Sanitation: Teach students ServSafe principles, kitchen safety, hygiene, and proper food storage and waste management.
• Equipment and Resource Management: Ensure equipment and supplies are available, in good working order, and that kitchens are clean and organized before and after classes.
• Student Assessment: Assign and grade practical tasks and assignments and evaluate student performance and progress.
Diploma, Higher National Diploma or Degree in Hotel and Catering, Cookery, Culinary Arts or related programs.
Professional Qualification in Cookery or Culinary Arts will be an added advantage.
