Job Description
A Dental Therapist is required to start as soon as possible at a dental practice located in the Kuwadzana 2 area. The Dental Therapist shall provide preventive, promotive, and basic restorative oral healthcare services within the lawful scope of practice and under the general supervision of the Dental Surgeon.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide preventive care (oral examinations, scaling and polishing, fluoride therapy, oral health education).
Perform basic restorative treatments and extract deciduous / selected permanent teeth within scope.
Take dental radiographs, manage minor emergencies, and refer complex cases.
Maintain patient records, infection control standards, and assist with stock management.
Participate in outreach programmes and comply with clinic policies and professional regulations.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum 3 years’ working experience
Must be willing to reside within walking distance of the practice
Good professional conduct and patient-centred approach
