Job Description
We are looking for highly skilled Diesel Plant Fitter to join our team. We value skilled professionals who share our commitment to excellence and safety.
Duties and Responsibilities
1.Maintenance and repair: perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of diesel-powered equipment.
2.Inspections: Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
3.Collaboration: Work with other teams to ensure efficient and safe operation of equipment.
4.Record-keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs and inspections.
Qualifications and Experience
1. Class 1 journeyman card in Diesel Mechanics or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years post-apprenticeship experience in a similar role.
3. Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical and hydraulic systems.
4. Knowledge of safety, health, environmental and quality management systems.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Valid Class 2 driver’s license is advantageous.
7. Must be 35 years and above.
