First Capital Bank is looking for a highly experienced Digital Communications Manager to join the Marketing and Communications team, reporting directly to the Head of Marketing and Communication. The ideal candidate will lead and execute all digital marketing, social media management, and creative content development for First Capital Bank Zimbabwe (50%) while providing strategic and operational digital support to Group Marketing & Communications across all markets - Botswana, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique and Zambia (50%). The role ensures strong digital engagement, consistent brand identity, and effective Group campaign amplification.
•Execute all Zimbabwe digital campaigns Search Engine Optimisation (SEO),
Search Engine Marketing (SEM), email, display, paid social)
•Enhance User Experience (UX) and optimise Zimbabwe website content.
•Manage scheduling, publishing, and monitoring across social platforms
(Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube).
•Develop and manage Zimbabwe social media content calendars.
•Community management & sentiment monitoring.
•Oversee ideation and production of high-quality creative—imagery, video,
graphics, copy for multi-channel campaigns.
•Coordinate with design, copywriting, and external agencies to ensure brand
consistency and creative excellence.
•Develop and execute an integrated digital and social media strategy aligned
with group business goals.
•Maintain and manage a group-wide content calendar for social, website,
blogs, emails, and paid campaigns.
•Manage Group LinkedIn page content & scheduling including creating
regional digital content & executive thought leadership.
•Coordinate cross-country content alignment and produce Group-wide social
performance reports
•Update Group website pages & publications including ensuring brand
consistency across FMBCH markets in the region.
•Support UX improvements with Group Digital/IT and maintain Group SEO
performance.
•Define and monitor KPIs (e.g., follower growth, reach, engagement rate,
clicks, conversions).
•Conduct social listening, metrics analysis, and reporting to adjust strategy,
demonstrating impact through measurable results.
•Produce dashboards on Group digital performance and benchmark country performance
Qualifications and Experience
•Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications or Digital Media
•Minimum 3 years’ experience in digital marketing and social media
management, with proven experience in campaign optimisation, analytics
reporting and brand governance.
•Exceptional experience in using analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta
Business Suite, LinkedIn Analytics) to drive performance optimisation
•Experience in digital marketing & content creation.
•Multi-country or Group support experience (advantage).
•Financial services experience (advantage).
•Social media strategy & analytics
• Graphic design & video editing.
• CMS proficiency & digital tools.
• Strong writing & storytelling ability.
• Good project management skills.
