Duties and Responsibilities

Project Management

Facilitate implementation of the Education Life Skills (EdLs) Technical Project and
WASH TP in the AP with technical support from the EdLs and WASH Technical Managers.
Facilitate TP assessments, baselines and evaluation processes in the AP.
Delivering project resources to intended beneficiaries according to World Vision (WV)guidelines
Ensure age appropriate participation of children in EdLs and WASH activities implemented by the AP.
Community Engagement and Networking

Engage relevant stakeholders (Ministry of: Education District Officers, Rural District
Council, Gender and Community Development, Women Affairs, Rural Health Centre staffs, District Development Fund, Ward Councilors, etc. and other NGOs and community structures in the AP) to ensure appropriate programming strategies and plans are developed and refined in line with AP and Government policies and visions.
Conduct community mobilization and Sensitization on the EdLs Technical project.
Raise awareness on Child Protection and Gender issues within the community.
Project Annual Budgeting and Implementation of Approved Annual Plans and Budgets

Facilitating annual review and planning to produce annual Detailed Implementation Plans
Ensure Detailed Annual Plans produced are fully implemented.
Prepare activity based budgeting and implementation
Monitoring and Reporting

Day to day monitoring of all Education and Life skills (EdLs) and WASH activities in the AP.
Provide weekly activities monitoring and progress reports
Provide monthly report on all WASH and EdLs activities, feeding into overall M&E processes through data collection, narrative reporting and MSC story collection, including photographs
Preparing project monthly, semi-annual and annual reports to show impact of interventions and upload in HORIZON.
Perform administrative work

Monitoring data entry, documentation and filing reports
Filing of project resources beneficiary’s acknowledgement documents
Procurement of project resources through system based (Provision) Supply Chain Management

Qualifications and Experience

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

A minimum of a Degree/Diploma in Education, Social Sciences or other relevant fields.
Knowledge of community development work or teaching/ learning methodologies.
Computer literacy in Outlook, Word and Excel packages is desirable.
Project management skills: activities planning and reporting.
At least two-years’ experience in Community development work.
Team player and stakeholder networking skills
Community engagement and facilitation skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision and willing to learn and be led by supervisors.
Self-starter, self-driven, and goal-focused with analytical and organizing skills as per the job purpose and responsibilities.
Good Interpersonal skills
Ability to speak English and local language of posted area
Willingness to stay most of the working times in the posted rural / remote area.
Clean class 4 driver ‘s license (a must)
