Job Description
Location: RCZ Synod Office
Type of Contract: 5-year renewable contract
Reports to: General Secretary (administratively) and Education Committee (functionally)
Job Summary
The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership and oversight of the RCZ education sector by supervising and inspecting RCZ educational institutions, developing and implementing education policies, coordinating with key stakeholders, and serving as the primary liaison between the Ministry of Education and all RCZ schools and educational institutions.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
* Provide overall leadership and management of the RCZ education sector.
* Conduct regular inspections and evaluations of RCZ schools and educational institutions.
* Develop, review and implement educational policies, strategies and programmes.
* Build and maintain effective relationships with the Ministry of Education and other stakeholders.
* Ensure compliance with national education standards, regulations and RCZ policies.
* Advise Church leadership on educational matters and emerging trends.
* Promote excellence, innovation and continuous improvement across RCZ educational institutions.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications and Experience
* Master’s Degree in Education or related field.
* At least 10 years’ senior management experience in the education sector.
* Valid and clean Class 4 Driver’s Licence.
