VACANCY NOTICE
EXCAVATOR OPERATOR – GRADE 6
Qualified and experienced candidates are invited to fill the post of Excavator Operator (Grade 6).
Duties and Responsibilities
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Operate an excavator safely and efficiently.
• Perform excavation duties, loading and stock piling as required.
• Practicals will be part of the interview.
• Conduct daily pre-start checks, basic maintenance and report faults.
• Adhere to all safety, health and environmental procedures.
• Any other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• Valid certificate from recognized training institution(s) in excavation.
• Must have at least 2 “O” Levels.
• Must be 30 to 50 years of age.
• A clean Class 2 Driver’s Licence is a must.
