Springbok farm in Marondera is looking for a Farm Manager
Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise staff
- Monitor crops and animals
- Allocate budgets
- Ensuring seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and other supplies are regularly restocked.
- Handling the marketing and sale of products produced on the farm like fruit, vegetables, dairy, meat, and grain.
- Building professional networks and keeping abreast of developments in agricultural science.
Qualifications and Experience
• Agricultural Diploma/Degree advantageous
• Min of 3 years previous farm management experience
• Min of 2 years previous Farm Management experience with Livestock (all management aspect to cattle)
• A minimum of 3 years of applicable experience on the maintenance and repair of agricultural machinery and equipment is compulsory
• Extensive knowledge of the repair and maintenance of farm equipment, irrigation pumps and irrigation systems
• Computer Literate • Strong management and communication skills
• Valid Driving License
• Must be willing to stay on the farm
• Have some knowledge on poultry and greenhouse farming.
