VACANCY: FARM MANAGER
A farm based in Marondera is seeking an experienced and hands-on Farm Manager to start immediately.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key responsibilities:
* Managing the farm’s day-to-day operations
* Overseeing animal husbandry, particularly pigs and cattle
* Managing feeding, breeding, animal health and biosecurity programmes
* Planning and supervising crop production
* Managing and supervising farm employees
* Maintaining accurate production and farm records
* Ensuring that production targets are achieved
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum requirements:
* At least five years of relevant farming experience
* Strong experience in animal husbandry, mainly pigs and cattle
* Proven experience in crop husbandry
* Previous farm management experience is essential
* Strong leadership and staff-management skills
* Ability to work independently and manage farm operations effectively
