THE JOB
The incumbent's duties include, among others:
• Explore and create new markets for the business.
• Undertake special visits to generate sales from farmers. construction companies. traders. and institutional customers.
• Identify opportunities and strategies to increase sales.
• Develop and grow the Farmers and Builders business unit Into a strategic contributor to the total business.
• Draft and send out sales proposals.
• Tendering and Bidding for business with Government Institutions.
• Train, develop and provide guidance to sales teams.
• Coordinate the preparation and presentation of merchandise quotations for customers.
THE PERSON
• Must hold a Commercial or Business degree, preferably Agribusiness, Engineering or Retail Management with 2.1 or better classification
• Holding or working towards a Professional Marketing Membership and Qualification e.g. Institute of Marketing Management (IMM) will be an added advantage.
• Having an MBA will be a distinct advantage.
• Must have proven sales experience: sector- specific sales experience is preferred.
• Having in-depth knowledge in Project Management and Strategic Planning will be at an added advantage.
• Must have excellent management, leadership and organizational skills.
• Must have impeccable integrity.
• Must have a Class 4 Driver's License_
