Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Finance department for a Finance Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the microbank. Qualified and experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Financial Leadership:
• Implement financial strategies.
2. Regulatory Compliance & Reporting:
• Ensure adherence to local and international regulations.
3. Budgeting & Financial Planning
• Co-ordinate and consolidate the preparation of annual budgets.
4. Risk Management:
* Assess and manage financial risks.
5. Capital Structure & Investment Oversight:
* Manage the capital structure and oversee investment activities to support the bank's liquidity and financial strength.
6. Stakeholder Engagement:
• Liaise with the auditors, and regulators to communicate financial performance and risks.
7. Supervision of staff
Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent).
* Minimum of three years' experience PREFERABLY in Financial or Banking Sector
