Financial Controller – FMCG Manufacturing
Duties and Responsibilities
• Reviews and circulates management accounts and financial reports to management and executive committee.
• Ensures compliance with accepted International Financial Reporting Standards .
• Prepares stakeholders reports.
• Prepares budgets/cash flow projections in accordance with the strategic plan in consultation with the CEO.
• Monitors payments/actual expenditure against budgets and to ensure effective cash flow management.
• Implements adequate accounting, budgetary and cost control systems throughout the company as a basis for controlling and reviewing costs, determining and allocating costs and achieving the target bottom line.
• Reviews financial transactions to ensure proper and transparent use of funds.
• Designs, implements and monitors operating effectiveness of internal control systems.
• Liaises with internal and external auditors.
• Ensures full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Identifies financial risk areas with Management.
• Identifies indicators of impeding change in the business environment and prepares contingency plans.
• Reviews responses on audit queries and management letters.

Qualifications and Experience
Requirements
• Degree in accounting or any related field
• CA/ACCA
• 5 years relevant experience of which 3 years should have been spent at management level
