Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Fitter and Turner to join our mining maintenance team. You will be responsible for the maintenance, repair and overhaul of critical fixed and mobile mining plant equipment
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Perform routine and breakdown maintenance on crushers, conveyors, ball mill, SAG MILL, pumps, screens and ventilation fans.
2. Manufacture and repair precision components
3. Diagnose and rectify mechanical faults on heavy mining equipment.
4. Interpret engineering drawings, hydraulic schematics and technical manuals.
5. Adhere strictly to site safety protocols and working at heights.
Qualifications and Experience
1. Minimum of 5 'O' level subjects including Mathematics, English and Science.
2. Minimum of a National Certificate in mechanical engineering (NC) or relevant qualification
3. Minimum experience of 3 years
4. Journeyman Class 1 (Fitting and Turning)
