Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and safety- conscious Fork Lift Driver to join our team. As a Fork Lift Driver, you will a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective movement of materials with in our facility. This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent coordination skills and a commitment to work place safety.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Safely operate forklift to move, stack and retrieve materials, supplies and production
2. Load and unload materials from trucks or storage areas using forklifts or handling equipment.
3. Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure they are in proper working conditions.
4. Adhere to safety regulations and company Policies to prevent accidents, injuries and damage to equipment or property.
5. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse or storage areas.
6. Report any operational or safety issues to supervisors or managers promptly.
Qualifications and Experience
25 Years old and above
Valid Fork lift operator certification and proven track record of safe forklift operations.
Experience operating various types of forklifts, including counterbalance, reach trucks or pallet jacks,
Strong Knowledge of warehouse operations including material handling and storage and inventory management
Excellent hand-eye coordination.
Attention to detail and the ability to accurately follow instructions.
Physical Stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment.
