EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
FRONT-END LOARDER OPERATOR
Applications are invited from interested and suitably qualified persons to fill in the following vacancy that has arisen within Croco Holdings group.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
• Operate front-end loader to load ore, waste, or aggregates into hoppers, trucks, or stockpiles.
• Ensure consistent and controlled feeding of material into the crushing plant.
• Perform pre-start checks and ensure the machine is in good working condition.
• Operate equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Ensure efficient movement of materials to meet production requirements.
• Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance (lubrication, cleaning).
• Identify and report mechanical faults or abnormalities.
• Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Operate equipment safely to avoid accidents or damage.
• Ensure timely loading and feeding to avoid plant downtime.
• Optimize fuel usage and minimize equipment wear.
• Work closely with crusher operators and supervisors to maintain steady production.
Qualifications and Experience
Key Skills and Attributes
• Proficiency in operating heavy equipment (front-end loader).
• Basic mechanical knowledge of equipment.
• Strong safety awareness.
• Good coordination and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications & Experience
• Valid Front-End Loader Operator Certificate / License.
• Minimum of 5 'O' Levels or equivalent.
• At least 2-3 years' experience operating front-end loaders in a mining or industrial environment.
• Experience working in crushing or processing plants is an added advantage.
