FUNDS OFFICER x1 - (Harare)
The following vacancy has arisen within Bonvie Medical Aid Scheme for the position of Funds Officer. Interested candidates who meet set requirements are encouraged to apply.
Reporting to the General Manager, THE POSITION WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
. Prepare and present monthly fund performance and financial reports.
2. Conduct data-driven fund analysis, including trend analysis and forecasting.
3. Analyse contribution structures and develop proposals for contribution rate reviews.
4. Evaluate benefit structures and utilisation trends and recommend improvements.
5. Perform data analytics to identify operational efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities.
6. Assess product performance and recommend strategies to improve fund sustainability.
7. Analyse synergies with related stakeholders and recommend efficiency improvements.
8. Provide analytical insights and strategic recommendations to support fund management decisions.
9. Be able to create dashboards, use graphs and other presentation tools to present data in the best possible format.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Data Analytics or related degree (business analytics focus) Statistics, Health Economics, Actuarial Science.
At least 3 years' experience in an operations management position or similar.
Good project management and business reporting skills.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
Accounting and Finance background is an added advantage.
Ability to promote efficiency toward achieving business objectives and profitability.

Experience with budgets, financial reports, and monitoring expenses.
