GENERAL MANAGER: DRIVEIT CAR RENTAL
LOCATION: Harare
TYPE: Full-Time, Senior Leadership Role
About The Role
Driveit Car Rental is seeking a results-driven General Manager to lead operations, fleet, finances, people, and customer experience. This is a hands-on leadership role for a professional who can bring structure, accountability, and growth.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
• Lead overall business strategy & daily operations
• Manage fleet acquisition, servicing, licensing & insurance
• Control budgets, costs & profitability
• Enforce SOPs & risk management
• Drive customer service excellence
• Lead & performance-manage teams
• Ensure compliance (Labour, ZIMRA, NSSA, Insurance)
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree (Business, Logistics, Automotive, Accounting, or related)
• 5-7 years leadership experience (3+ at senior level)
• Experience in car rental, transport, logistics, or fleet-driven sectors
• Strong financial & compliance knowledge (Zimbabwe context)
• Proven leadership & accountability skills
Added Advantage: MBA or growth/turnaround experience
