GRADUATE TRAINEE – MECHANICAL and ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING
Location: On Site
Reporting To: Maintenance Foreman / Engineering Manager
Industry: Mining, Earthmoving & Crushing
Role Summary: We are inviting applications from recent Mechanical or Electrical
Engineering graduates to join our Graduate Trainee Programme. The successful candidate
will gain practical, hands-on experience in plant maintenance, equipment reliability, and
mining operations while developing into a well-rounded engineering professional within our
operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
• Assist in the maintenance and repair of plant and heavy equipment.
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance programmes.
• Participate in equipment inspections and condition monitoring.
• Assist in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults.
• Work closely with maintenance and operations teams to improve plant
performance.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.
• Adhere to all safety, health, and environmental requirements on site.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications & Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Recent graduate (0–2 years’ experience).
• Industrial attachment or internship in mining, quarry, or heavy industry is an
added advantage.
• Basic understanding of heavy equipment and plant systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Ability to work in a demanding site environment.
