Job Description:
Unki Mines (Private) Limited, offers a developmental opportunity to the qualifying candidate for training as a Graduate Trainee Metallurgy within the Process environment.

This is a 2 YEAR FIXED TERM ROLE for Metallurgy and Chemical Engineering graduates who want to have a smarter future within the Process industry. Initially, you will be offered a two-year graduate programme with UNKI Platinum mines based in Shurugwi, Zimbabwe.

Duties and Responsibilities

Hands-on Learning: As a graduate, you will actively contribute to projects that impact the future of mining, from optimising processes to improving safety and sustainability across our operations.

Data Analysis and Problem-Solving: Use your skills to analyse data and provide insights that will help shape decision-making in real-time operations, ensuring efficiency and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

The following are the minimum entry requirements for the programme:

2.1 or better degree class in Mertallurgical or Chemical Engineering or related field
Certified medically fit
Experience

Attachment or working in a Process Department is an added advantage
Knowledge and Skills
