Job Description

The position is a learner ship programme which will cover areas of handling of loan business generation, processing of applications, monitoring, debt recovery, basic branch administration and accounts clerical duties as representatives of SMEDCO to ensure the implementing of lending facilities to all stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Producing brief analysis reports and appraisals on projects to evaluate viability for funding approval to ensure informed decision making.
• Conducting credit checks on client’s financial history.
• Conducting periodic visits to clients who have running projects to assess how projects are operating and to create solutions to address challenges being encountered.
• Conducting market analysis for reduction of risk and mitigating those risks for the benefit of the organization
• Producing reports highlighting how SMEs are benefiting from funds availed to them by SMEDCO
• Assisting in general branch administration and accounts clerical duties.
• Any other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

• A degree in Economics, Business Studies, Accounting, Entrepreneurship or other relevant qualification.
• Minimum one-year industrial attachment experience
• Exceptional analytical skills
• Clean Class 4 Drivers License
