Job Description
*GRADUATE TRAINEE × 2: HORTICULTURE (2 YEAR TRAINEESHIP)*
The Global Agribusiness Professionals Institute is seeking Graduate Trainees to join their team on two-year fixed-term traineeships. Two positions are available, one based in Chegutu and one based in Kadoma.
Duties and Responsibilities
*Key Responsibilities:*
- Assist with day to day production activities, including planting, irrigation, pest and disease control, and harvesting
- Support greenhouse and open-field crop management for tomatoes, sweet potatoes, and bell peppers
- Support goat husbandry, including feeding, health monitoring, and general animal care
- Assist with the establishment and maintenance of the farm's tree plantation
- Maintain accurate production and activity records
- Assist with post harvest handling and quality control
- Participate in structured on the job training across all farm operations
- Support general farm maintenance and administrative duties as required
• Any other duties as assigned from time to time
Qualifications and Experience
*We are looking for candidates who:*
- Hold a diploma or certificate in Horticulture Production, Agronomy, Crop Science, Animal Husbandry, or a related field from a recognized agricultural college
- Are recent graduates (2024, 2025, or 2026)
- Are willing to relocate to and live on site at either Chegutu or Kadoma
- Are hands-on, reliable, and eager to learn
