Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Groundsman to help maintain the hospital’s
outdoor areas to a high standard. This role is essential in ensuring a safe, clean, and
welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Duties and Responsibilities
-Maintain hospital grounds, lawns, gardens, and walkways
-Mow lawns, trim hedges, weed flower beds, and prune trees and bushes.
-Collect and dispose of litter and garden waste safely
-Ensure pathways and outdoor areas are clean and hazard-free
-Assist with basic outdoor maintenance and setup tasks
-Follow health, safety, and infection-control procedures at all times
Qualifications and Experience
-Previous grounds keeping or landscaping experience is an advantage
-Ability to perform physical outdoor work in various weather conditions
-Basic knowledge of gardening tools and equipment
-Strong attention to safety and cleanliness
-Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
