Applications are invited from suitably qualified individuals to fill the above vacancy that has arisen in the Guest House Department,
The successful applicant will report to the Guest House Manager and will among other duties be responsible for the following:
• Attend to guest queries and reservations.
• Welcome of guests.
• Check and inspect guest rooms; guest house kitchens, public areas, guest house club, Mujeki Big Brother and Mujeki Residences
• Maintain cleanliness of all guest house areas and Mujeki Big Brother and Mujeki Residence.
• Report any maintenance issues and ensure they are fixed.
• Supervise guest house staff.
• Handle guest house administrative issues, orders and reports.
• Any other duties as assigned by the superiors.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• 5 ‘O’ level passes including English and Mathematics.
• Diploma/certificate in Tourism and Hospitality.
• At least 2 years’ experience.
• A degree in Tourism & Hospitality is an added advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team player.
