What we expect from you.
Duties and Responsibilities
Formulate IT Infrastructure strategies that align with business requirements
Develop business case, justification, and budget for new technology implementation
Oversee the direction of infrastructure investment, and technical roadmap and recommend the necessary budget support
Manage the servers and storage platforms
Review network architecture and equipment, and formulate service standards for network performance
Implement proactive capacity management interventions to mitigate service disruptions
Identify and manage risks associated with Infrastructure and Cloud solutions
Oversee infrastructure configuration management
Design, plan and deploy Data Centre systems and equipment
Manage stakeholders and vendor relationships
Oversee the performance of IT Infrastructure teams to deliver on the set goals and objectives
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications, Skills, and experience required
· A Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, or Computer Science
· Masters in Information Systems or Computer Science an added advantage
· Certifications in ITIL, COBIT, CCNA, MCSE, Data Centre management, etc
· At least 5 years of working experience at a senior managerial level within a large and complex IT Infrastructure environment
· Working knowledge of a wide range of Operating systems and Virtualization technologies
· Good stakeholder management skills
· Good at managing performance
