Job Description
Head of Legal & Compliance / Legal & Compliance Manager
We are looking for a self-motivated legal & compliance manager to join our organisation.
Duties and Responsibilities
The legal and compliance manager must have hands on experience in ensuring that the right procedures are used for hiring, managing employee relations, handling disputes between employer and employees, and the termination of employment contracts.
An added advantage will be health and safety knowledge and practical experience in carrying out risk assessments; liaising with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with mandatory regulations; Investigating accidents on and off sites and producing subsequent reports and recommendations: and carrying out site inspections to check policies and procedures are being property implemented
Qualifications and Experience
The incumbent should possess the following:
• Relevant degree
• Expertise in written and verbal communication
• Knowledge of both labour and criminal law
• Research skills
• Attentive to detail
•Transport industry experience an added advantage
