We seek aHospital Cook who will be responsible for preparing nutritious, well-balanced meals for patients, staff, and visitors in accordance with prescribed dietary requirements
Prepare and serve meals according to the hospital’s menu and dietary guidelines.
Ensure food is prepared and served under strict hygiene and safety conditions.
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, cooking utensils, and storage areas.
Manage food stock levels and report shortages to the supervisor.
Follow dietary instructions for patients with special needs (e.g., diabetic, hypertensive, or soft diets).
Work collaboratively with the nutritionist, nurses, and support staff to ensure timely meal service.
Certificate or Diploma in Cookery, Food Preparation, or Catering.
At least 2 years’ experience working as a cook, preferably in a hospital, school, or institutional setting.
Knowledge of dietary requirements and portion control.
Excellent hygiene practices and knowledge of food safety regulations.
Ability to work well in a team and under minimal supervision.
