A lithium mining company is on the job market and seeking to recruit. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill in the following vacant positions.The positions are based at the mine in Manicaland area
Duties and Responsibilities
• Coordinate Health, Safety and Environmental management systems on surface mining Into operations.
• Ensure operational compliance with all applicable not standards and regulations.
• Carry out scheduled and unscheduled audits and inspection
• Ensure all incidents are properly and thoroughly investigated and corrective action implemented.
• Interface with relevant industry bodies when necessary.
• Preparation of reports as required by Management
Qualifications and Experience
Requirements
• Degree in Health, Safety and Environment or Environmental Science .
At least 3 years' experience as a HSE Officer.
• SHATCOR 1 & 2 or OHSMEC 1 & 2 an added advantage
. Mining experience an added advantage
. In depth knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 9001
