Job Description
The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Corporation (SMEDCO) is inviting applications from suitably qualified and motivated students to join its ICT Department on a Student Attachment Programme. This opportunity is designed to provide practical, hands-on experience in a dynamic and professional work environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide first-line IT support to users (hardware and software)
Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and networks
Support system troubleshooting and problem resolution
Assist in maintaining the ICT infrastructure and equipment
Support data management, backups, and system security processes
Participate in ICT projects and system upgrades
Maintain accurate documentation of ICT activities
Qualifications and Experience
Currently studying towards a Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Must be on industrial attachment as part of the academic programme
Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
