Job Description
The National Employment Council for the Construction Industry invites applications from suitably qualified, dedicated, honest and experienced candidates to fill the position which has arisen in our organization.
Duties and Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
➢ Design, install, and maintain the organization’s hardware, software, servers, and network architecture (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi), ensuring reliable multi-branch connectivity and minimal downtime.
➢ Ensure IT systems meet data protection laws and company policies.
➢ Serve as the primary escalation point for staff technical issues (hardware, software, access permissions) and conduct training sessions to onboard employees on new tools and systems.
➢ IT planning by recommending upgrades or new systems, rolling out new software versions.
➢ Maintenance and upgrade of the interactive portal.
➢ Implement Application Programming Interface integrations
➢ Ensure information security
➢ Database maintenance
Qualifications and Experience
QUALIFICATIONS
A minimum qualification of a degree in Data Science.
OR
A degree in Information Technology PLUS Data Science certification.
EXPERIENCE
Previous working experience in a similar position at least 3 years.
TECHNICAL MASTERY
Proven proficiency in SQL database management and hands-on experience with diverse computer systems, network protocols, and API structures.
