Job Description

The University seeks to recruit applicants with requisite skills and experience for the following post in Institutional Research and Quality Management Section:
1. INSTITUTIONAL RESEARCH OFFICER

Duties and Responsibilities

The Institutional Research Officer’s portfolio will focus on client service through conducting research and investigations, processing information on defined university systems and functions such as student enrolments, progression, completion, welfare, work placements and alumni involvement, among others.

Qualifications and Experience

He/She should be competent at qualitative and quantitative Research techniques, analysis, problemsolving, and personnel information evaluation and reporting. Computer literacy and proficiency with current data processing software is a must. The position requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field with a substantial component of statistics and research methods. Further, the candidate must have at least 3 years’ working experience in an environment making use of research and statistical, empirical and evidence-based solutions. Possession of a master’s degree and additional qualifications in relevant skills areas will be an advantage.
